ANDREA LAWENT - OwnerWith both arms inked to the wrists, ripped tee and a mic in her hand, Andrea Lawent is a workout wildcat. The owner of Made in LA Fitness, Lawent blasts Queens of the Stone Age, Slipknot and System of a Down for a tattooed clientele including Carmen Electra and members of Bad Religion.

BRETT KESTERMy primary function is to provide fitness instruction, which includes: weight management strategies to take it off and keep it off, nutrition counseling for specific +40, +50 needs, cardiovascular training for a strong heart, strength training for bone density improvements, and flexibility training for increase mobility, at a recognizable value.

Derek Ringold has been a fitness lover all his life. From playing basketball, competing in gymnastics, and studying dance in his early years to becoming a Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor as an adult. He is AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) and CPR Certified. Ask any one of his clients and they will tell you that Derek's specialty is Cardio with weights! His program consists of Core stability warm up exercises followed by full body toning with dumbbells/machines combined with several 5-8 minute bouts of high intensity cardio with a 10 minute abdominal blast finish. This program proves most effective for balance, lean body sculpting, metabolism acceleration, and of course, faster weight loss. Being a New York City Joffrey Ballet Trained dancer, Derek also teaches group dance classes for all fitness levels. Derek currently trains and teaches at Made In LA Fitness.
George King's athletic and fitness career began rather
inauspiciously as an underweight, big-haired welterweight. Track and
field was my first love. He went on to attain All-star status as a
nationally-ranked high school and college sprinter. After college, he
was led into a fitness career in large part due to his father's storied
career as an old school powerlifter and gym owner.George has been
training professionally for the past 8 years and have amassed several
nationally-merited fitness certifications in the process (NASM-CPT, PES,
CES and NCSF).
Training is no mere physical activity whereby one attempts to lift more and/or gain less. It is an all-encompassing endeavor that melds the physical, the emotional, the psychological and even the spiritual in nearly-poetic displays of achievement and accomplishment. The people who I'm blessed to have train under me aren't just clients, they're soldiers getting ready for battle in the war of their choosing. Fun is never promised. But success, under most circumstances, most certainly is.
Jennifer is a fitness and wellness expert with over 10 Years of experience in this ever evolving industry.
With a long list of certifications, dance background and charismatic energy she has taken each and every client to a whole new level of fitness. She started her career in the gym industry at the tender age of 18 working closely with Cancer survivers. Realizing she couldn't reach as many people as she wanted to with one on one training she stepped into the group fitness arena.
Pilates (Reformer and Mat), Indoor Cycling, Full Body Sculpting and Kettle Bell Training are just some of the classes she instructs. She is in the business of helping and inspiring, A nationally published fitness writer, a weekly featured fitness writer for www.girlsguideto.com and a relationship advice columnist for www.threedayrule.com. She aims for all around wellness for the mind, body and spirit.
As a professional dancer, Kirsten has been athletic and health conscious since early childhood. But don't let her twinkle toes fool you. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in dance, she was introduced to military and martial arts based conditioning, which she found to be highly effective in creating lean, strong bodies and sky rocketing endurance. As a result, Kirsten combines her knowledge of dance conditioning with hard-core circuit training to provide each individual client with the results they desire. Kirsten will push you past your self-imposed limits, because that's where real results are achieved.
Prior to joining the Made in LA family, Megan has established herself as a passionate and proficient fitness professional in both Orange County and Los Angeles. In 2009 she founded "Become An Addict with Miss Fitness Junkie", an intense group outdoor training program aimed towards people of all fitness backgrounds. Megan's passion for leading an active lifestyle and her unique ability to motivate and challenge people has shaped her into the ultimate fitness enthusiast. She holds multiple nationally recognized certifications and was a competitive athlete and cheerleader for over 10 years. She focuses much of her attention on nutrition and encouraging consistency, believing proper nutrition along with a long-term fitness plan that will deliver solid results, long term results... Omar is a well rounded instructor with certifications from the
National Academy of Sports Medicine and Yoga Alliance. What separates
Omar from many in the fitness industry is his elite level dance
experience. He has performed and toured with many multi platinum
recording artists as both a dancer and choreographer. This unique spirit
is a jiu jitsu practitioner at the world famous Gracie jiu jitsu
academy in Torrance California.

STEPHEN FRANCISBeing a former college athlete with extensive training and knowledge in football, basketball, and baseball, Stephen has years of experience when it comes to training techniques and workout methodology. Additionally, Stephen has been training exceptional special needs athletes in preparation for the Special Olympics since his younger brother first started competing in 1996.
Specialization: Stephen's training methods range from sport specific workouts focusing on stability, flexibility and increasing core strength to aerobic based, high intensity workouts geared to shed excess weight fast.
